How do I get on your photoshoot schedule, it seems like you are always booked?
- I am so grateful and thankful for all my clients & friends who keep me booked a year in advance. While I do have openings pop up periodically, the best way to get on the calendar is to do my 12 Days of Christmas photo sales that I run every December 1st - 12th. The people who do that sale get contacted in February of the next year and get the chance to book for that year. Usually around 200 do the sale so the year books up then. You save around $100. It is my way of THANKING you for being so amazing.

Do you retouch your photos?
YES!!!! I started my art journey when I was 5 years old, oil painting with my mom. I continued my art in H.S. and College and was a Traditional Artist with Millers Professional Imaging in Pittsburg, Kansas before digital was even a thing.
When digital happened it was very natural for me to continue art in photoshop. While I LOVE natural and authentic photos, I also love to make a photo enhanced and gorgeous. I offer natural skin retouching like removing blemishes and softening of wrinkles.
Do you offer payment options?
YES, I offer a no interest payment plan option for any remaining balance you have. Just pay a small deposit the day of your photoshoot and then we decide what your monthly payment will be each month. You will need to give me debit or credit card information.

Do you travel?
You betcha I do!! I load up my trusty Pathfinder every morning with things I need and hit the road.

Can we take photos indoors?
I take photos outdoors.
My style is Country and Rural. I value nature and light and just love the freedom we have being outdoors.
Sometimes it is colder and sometimes hotter, Since I am an authentically real photographer I actually love all the seasons and temperatures. Don't ever think for one second you will not get beautiful photos in the winter and early spring. It is ALL in the lighting and professionals know how to find light.
If it is SUPER hot and someone is sensitive to the heat we can absolutely reschedule. Same thing with the cold. Under 35* noses can turn pink. I do love to take photos though in colder weather for more natural sessions like my Legacy photoshoots. Because life on farms and outdoors is not about perfect weather.
What if we have to reschedule?
No problem at all. I totally get that life happens.
While I do my best to get you in quickly, because of the nature of my travel sessions and my busy calendar, sometimes we have to wait to the next year.
I do keep a wait list, though it does not usually get many openings.
Do you use flash?
I do not use flash outdoors.
Do you photograph weddings and newborns?
I do not photograph weddings and newborns.
I start photographing babies at sitter age, usually around 5/6 months.
When do we get our digital downloads and sneak peek?
Because I am on the road so much, my work flow usually does not allow for early sneak peeks.
Most of my sessions take 4-5 weeks to get all finished.
